Evelyn Docken, of Montevideo, died on Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 92.

Funeral services will be  on Friday, December 26, 2014  at 10:30 A.M. at Maynard Lutheran Church with Rev. Tim Ehling officiating.  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.

Visitation will be held at the church for one hour before the services on Friday.

Evelyn Antonia Kuehn was born July 18, 1922 in Montevideo, MN the daughter of August and Ella (Guse) Kuehn.  She was confirmed at St Paul’s Lutheran Church May 3, 1936 and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1940.  On September 7, 1940, she was united in marriage with Bennie Wig.  She helped Bennie with the farming until he died April 9, 1961.  On May 2, 1964, she was united in marriage with Orien B. Docken  in Montevideo.  She was a doctors assistant and bookkeeper and she helped Orien with the TV business.  They were long-time residents of Maynard until moving to Montevideo in 2002.  Orien died November 10, 2012.  She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary in Maynard and helped with the blood drive.  Evelyn was an active member of the Maynard Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed doing various crafts, gardening, playing cards, dancing, traveling, and spending time with family.  She also liked Thursday morning coffee with the “Kitchen Queens” in Maynard.

She is survived by her children: Carol (and Ron) Hadrath of Montevideo, MN, Audrey Arends of Montevideo, MN and Byran (and Mary) Wig of Elko, MN; eight grandchildren: Rona (Dave) Bristle, Jan (Richard) Enevoldsen, Craig (Traci) Arends, Terry Hadrath, Randy (Denise) Hadrath, Kristin (Cory) Johnson, Andrew Wig, and Adam (Nicole) Wig; fourteen great-grandchildren: Colten, Braden, Casey, Jaimee, Joseph, Rosemary, Benjamin, Ashley (Derick), Daniel, Marcus, Landon, Kayla, Gavin and Aubree; three great-great-grandchildren: Brookie, Devin, and Collin; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands: Bennie and Orien; two brothers: Cyril and Denny Kuehn; and a sister, Alta Mae Fjerkenstad.
