Florence Agre of Montevideo died on Saturday Feb. 26,1994 at the Clara City Nursing Home at the age of 89. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday March 1 at 1: 30 P.M. at the Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Norman Aronson officiating. Burial will be in the Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Florence Milbeck was born on September 5, 1904 in Chippewa Co., Minnesota to John and Theolina Milbeck. She was baptized and confirmed at Strombeck Lutheran Church and attended rural schools. On September 21, 1929 she was united in marriage to Arthur Agre at Sacred Heart Lutheran Church in Sacred Heart, Mn. She was a lifelong resident of Chippewa Co., attended Strombeck Lutheran Church and Salem Lutheran Church, and was a member of the Senior Citizens.
Florence died on February 26, 1994 at the Clara City Nursing Home at the age of 89. She is survived her husband Arthur of Montevideo; by daughters - Ardis (Pete) Eekhoff and Shirley Sachariason of Montevideo; Lorraine (Lloyd) Christians of Watertown,SD; and Beverly( Roger) Linnee of Gwinn,Mi.; by a son - Marvin (Grace) Agre of Mounds View, Mn.; 16 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; by sisters - Myrtle Borg of Wegdahl,Mn. and Mabel Saaler of Saskatchewan, Canada; by a brother - Edwin Milbeck of Dawson, Mn. ; as well as by a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by a son - Melbourne; by sisters - Ruth Hoffman,Martha Christiansen and Christine Christiansen; and by brothers - Albin, Arvid, Carl and Lerene Milbeck.
