Florence Kulbeck, of Montevideo, died on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Valin's Senior Care in Montevideo at the age of 85. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Watson with Rev. Larry Olson officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening and with the family from 5-7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Florence Arlean (Golden) Kulbeck was born on December 25, 1923 in Chippewa County, MN to Elmer and Agnes (Allickson) Golden. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church and attended school in District #19 of rural Watson. On March 24, 1946 she was united in marriage to Clifford Kulbeck at Immanuel Lutheran. They lived in Montevideo, Webster, WI and in Brooklyn Center, MN for many years. She worked at Munsingwear in Minneapolis before they retired back to Montevideo. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its WELCA and was a member of the DAV auxiliary. She enjoyed sewing, quilt making, cooking, canning and involved in family activities. Florence is survived by her sister, Gertrude Eide of Montevideo as well as by a nephew and several nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Clifford in 2001.
