Forrest Clinton Scott

Forrest Scott, 85, of Montevideo, died Monday, March 24, 2003 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 27, 2003 at 3:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.  Rev. Jean Boese will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Forrest Clinton Scott was born January 26, 1918 in Story County, IA the son of Ray and Dessia (Hanks) Scott.  He married Velma Marie (Holmes) Scott April 24, 1937 in Nevada, IA.  They farmed at Ames, IA before moving to St. Cloud, MN in 1961.  He farmed and later owned Scotty Mobile Home Service.  After retiring in 1989, he moved to Montevideo.  He was currently a resident of the Luther Haven Nursing Home.

He is survived by one son, Daniel (Sherry) Scott of Montevideo, MN; one daughter, Sandy (Marvin) Skaggs of St. Cloud, MN; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Velma on December 19, 1988; one infant son; one brother; and one sister.
