Frank Boettcher, 84, of Montevideo died July 24, 1997 as the result of an automobile accident in Montevideo.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 28, 1997 at 2:00 P.M. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Rev. Norman Aronson will officiate and interment will be at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo and at the church for one hour before services on Monday.
Frank John Boettcher was born January 13, 1913 in Fulda, MN the son of Harry and Hulda (Nelson) Boettcher. He attended school and grew to adulthood in Worthington and Warba. Frank entered the US Army October 6, 1942 and served in the military police until his discharge February 4, 1946. After his discharge, he worked for Flower City Paper Box Company in Minneapolis until retiring in 1978. He then moved back to Montevideo.
He is survived by three brothers: Clarence Boettcher of Montevideo, MN, Leonard Boettcher and his wife Adelle of Warba, MN, and Darrold Boettcher and his wife Clarice of Montevideo, MN; two sisters: Vernes Erickson and her husband Wayne of Montevideo, MN and Agnes Gimmestad of Montevideo, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him death were his parents and one sister, Isabelle (Rassler) Anderson.
