Frank Brunner died Saturday, February 12, 2005 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 87.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Montevideo. Fr. Jim Devorak will be the celebrant and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8:00 P.M.
Frank Clifford Brunner was born January 11, 1918 in Chippewa County, MN the son of John and Anna (Hohler) Brunner. He attended rural school and farmed his entire working life in Grace Township. After retirement, he sold his farm and continued to live there until moving to Luther Haven Nursing Home in October of 2004. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Montevideo.
He is survived by one sister-in-law, Anna (Mrs. Paul) Brunner and seventeen nieces and nephews: William (Bev) Spies of Kimble, MN, Jerry (Pat) Spies of Luck, WI, Ron (Linda) Spies of Faribault, MN, Susan (Bill) Hulbert of Brooklyn Park, MN, Steven (Val) Spies of Waseca, MN, Phillip (Joyce) Brunner of Granite Falls, MN, Karen Sell of Willmar, MN, Gene (Sharon) Brunner of Clarkfield, MN, Sharon (Bob) Williamson of Aurora, CO, Jon (Marcia) Brunner of Lake Stevens, WA, Mike (Kathy) Brunner of Granite Falls, MN, Richard (LaVerne) Fenner of Lakeville, MN, Dennis (Rosemary Nelson) Fenner of Barnesville, MN, Marion (Richard) Streitz of Minneapolis, MN, Ardy Spray of Montevideo, MN, Marlene (Dennis) Lutz of Coon Rapids, MN, and Jeanne (Stephen) Carney of Corcoran, MN.
Preceding him in death were his parents; four sisters: Marie Brunner, Clara Spies, Helen Fenner, and Stella Milbeck; and one brother, Paul Brunner.
