Gary Stock, of Montevideo, died on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Madison Lutheran Home at the age of 60. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Tim Wheatley officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening with the family present from 5 - 7 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Gary Lee Stock was born on July 1, 1950 in Appleton, MN to Clifford and Opal (Ronning) Stock. He grew up in the Appleton area, attended Appleton Public Schools and graduated from Appleton High School in 1968. He moved to Montevideo in 1971 and worked on the Street Department for the City of Montevideo for many years. He has been a resident of the Madison Lutheran Home for the past couple of years. He enjoyed Vikings, Twins and all Minnesota Sports, playing bingo, spending time with his family and friends and especially loved seeing his grandchildren. He is survived by his children: Jennifer Panning of Sioux Falls, SD; Chad Stock of Montevideo; Christy Stock of Montevideo and Jeremy Stock of White Bear Lake,, MN; five grandchildren: Dylan Stock; Kaylee and J.T. Panning, Landon Stock and Tanner Johnson; a brother, Mike Stock and a sister, Koni Coyour, both of Appleton, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sandy Schultz and by an infant brother.
