Geraldine Ermentrude (Hagen) Connor

Geraldine Connor, 79, of Montevideo, died March 18, 1997, at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, March 22, 1997, at Trinity Lutheran Church.  Rev. Timothy Lindhorst and Rev. Alvin G. Lewis, Jr. officiated and interment was at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.

Geraldine Ermentrude Hagen was born March 22, 1917 in Chippewa County, MN the daughter of Oscar and Josephine (Arlien) Hagen.  She was baptized and confirmed at Saron Lutheran Church and she graduated from Montevideo High School.  Geraldine was united in marriage with Lloyd Connor June 14, 1936 at Black Oak Lake Lutheran Church.  They made their home at Wegdahl, MN and she worked at Mork's General Store.  She was a Stanley Home Products dealer for many years and she worked at MTI in Montevideo during the 1970's.  Geraldine was an active member of the VFW Auxiliary, Black Oak Lake Lutheran Church, and the Trinity Church Women's Circle.  She enjoyed doing needlework.

She is survived by two sons: Michael Connor and his wife Marjorie of Litchfield, MN and Robert Connor and his wife Gloria of Hopkins, MN; ten grandchildren: Lloyd, Joel, Teresa, Angela, Susann, Debra, Victoria, Troy, Christopher, and Amanda; fourteen great-grandchildren: Cory, Mark, Marie, Jessica, Travis, Desirae, Ariel, Alexander, Ryan, Kimberly, Justin, Jordyn, Alyssa, and Margaret; one sister: Orel Jane Loe and her husband Gerald of Maynard, MN; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Lloyd, January 31, 1984; one daughter, Evelyn Norton; one granddaughter, Bonita Connor; one great-granddaughter, Kaitlin Stokes; and one son-in-law, Bruce Norton.
