Gladys Einerson, formerly of Montevideo, died on Sunday, February 20, 2000 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, MN at the age of 93.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 23, 2000 at 1:30 PM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to services at the church. The Anderson Funeral Home of Montevideo is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Gladys Mary (Olson) Einerson was born on March 18, 1906 in Chippewa Co., MN to Fred and Lena (Manthey) Olson. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo and attended rural schools. In 1940 she was united in marriage to Edward Brazel, who died in 1964. In 1970 she was united in marriage to Irvin Einerson, who died in 1986. She was a lifelong resident of Montevideo until moving to the Westview Acres Apartments in Waconia three years ago. She was a lifelong member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, was a circle and women’s group member and had been a member of Eastern Star.
Nana, as she was known to her family, is survived by a daughter - Mary Ann (Brazel) Everson and her husband Ronald of Waconia, MN; grandchildren - Tamara Born and her husband Jeffrey of Waconia, MN and Tracy Everson of Watertown, MN; great grandchildren - Addison and Marshall Born; a sister - Margaret Zimmerle of Belgrade, MN; a sister-in-law - Esther Olson of Eau Claire, WI; as well as by a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward Brazel and infant son; her husband Irvin Einerson; a brother - Clarence Olson and by a brother-in-law - Richard Zimmerle.
