Glen Haugerud, of Montevideo, died on Monday August 22, 1994 at the St. Clud Hospital in St. Cloud, Mn. at the age of 55. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday August 25 at 1:30 P.M. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Douglas Olson and Fr. Jerry Paulson officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo. Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon and evening and with the family from 7 - 8 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Glen O'Neil Haugerud was born on September 11, 1938 in Monteviudeo, Mn. to James and Mabel Haugerud. he was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church and attended Montevideo Schools. He spent 3 years in the US Navy. He was united in marriage to Mary Jo Coubal on October 15, 1960 in Granite Fallls, Mn. He was a self-employed contractor until becomming disabled due to health in 1979. He was a lifelong resident of Montevideo, a lifelong member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife - Mary Jo; by daughters - Glenda (Tim) Abbas of Montevideo and Cindy (Tim) Godfrey of Montevideo; 6 grandchildren; by sisters - Valgene Wallace and Janet Cushman of Montevideo and Glennis Dunn of Texas; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother - Chester in 1987.
