Glen Hildahl, 89, of Montevideo died October 31, 1995 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 4, 1994 at 2:00 P.M. at Bergen Lutheran Church, rural Montevideo. Rev. David Mesner officiated and interment was in the church cemetery.
Visitation was held Friday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo and at the church for one hour before services on Saturday.
Glen Clayton Hildahl was born January 21, 1906 at Wegdahl, MN the son Pedar and Oleanna (Laugmandsgaard) Hildahl. Glen was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church at Wegdahl. He was united in marriage with Luella Doebbert on October 26, 1941 at Saron Lutheran Church in Montevideo. In the spring of 1942 they moved to a farm in Stony Run Township where they farmed. Glen served on the town board and taught Sunday School. He moved to the Madison Lutheran Home November 19, 1992 and shortly thereafter to Luther Haven Nursing Home. Luella died May 3, 1994.
He is survived by two brothers: Ervin Hildahl and his wife Mildred and Selmer Hildahl both of Granite Falls; one sister, Ruby Cornelius of Montevideo; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Luella; an infant son; one brother, Leonard Hildahl; one sister-in-law, Odella Hildahl; one brother-in-law, Ward Cornelius; and two nephews.
