Glenn E. Roder, 63, of Hopkins, MN and formerly of Montevideo, MN died August 30, 1999 at Vencor Hospital in Minneapolis.
Graveside memorial services were held Saturday, September 4, 1999 at 1:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.
Memorial services will also be held Saturday, September 11, 1999 at 11:00 A.M. at Fairview Lutheran Church, 4215 Fairview Avenue, Minnetonka, MN.
Glenn E. Roder was born September 19, 1935 at Milbank, SD the son of Leonard and Alice (Tulowiske) Roder. He attended school and grew to adulthood at Montevideo, MN. He was united in marriage with Norma Peterson April 17, 1971 at Montevideo, MN. They made their home in the Minneapolis area. Glenn was a 30 year employee of the Milwaukee and Soo Line Railroad. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; one son, Jeffrey of Hopkins, MN; his mother, Alice of Montevideo, MN; four brothers: Arlen and his wife Anita of Sycamore, IL, Roger and his wife Gloria of Orono, MN, Tim of Montevideo, MN, and Allen of Hanley Falls, MN; one sister, Arleth Torgerson and her husband Scott of Watson, MN; one sister-in-law, Linda Roder of Clarkfield, MN; other relatives and friends; and a special canine friend, Natalie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard and two brothers: Leon and David.
