Harlan Lien, 46, of Maynard, died March 28, 1994 at Medesto, CA.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 4, 1994 at 1:30 P.M. at Maynard Lutheran Church in Maynard, MN. Rev. Ronald Duty will officiate and interment will be at Maynard Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 4:00 P.M. on Sunday at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo and at the church for one hour before services on Monday.
Harlan Gale Lien was born May 1, 1947 at Montevideo, MN the son of George and Harriet (Hanson) Lien. He attended school and grew to adulthood in the Maynard area. Harlan graduated from Maynard High School in 1965. He later entered the US Army and served in Vietnam. After his discharge, he worked in California for a while before returning to Maynard. Harlan farmed and did construction work while in Minnesota and was a fur buyer in California during the winter months. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Maynard.
He is survived by his father, George of Maynard, MN; one sister: Karen Wright and her husband Charles of Montevideo, MN; and three nieces: Rommell Hendrickson, Kris Lease, and Angela Wright.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Harriet.
