Harvey is survived by his three children: Pam (Mel) Haugerud of Montevideo, Sue (Garret) Winter of Montevideo, and James Hilden of Montevideo; 9 grandchildren: Elliot (Jody) Hilden, Neil (Ali) Haugerud, Adam Haugerud (fiancé, Katie Clark), Anna (Jon) Hoff, Ross (Mistie) Winter, Mark (Samantha) Haugerud, Katie (Will) Krumwiede, Lila Blue, and Jasmyne Jacobson; 8 great-grandchildren: Brittany and Brooke Hilden, Aiden Haugerud, Nolan, Natalie, and Emma Hoff, and Kylee and Bryce Haugerud; and a daughter-in-law, Deb Hegna.
