Ione Anna (Beckman) Anderson

Ione Anderson, formerly of Clara City, died on Friday December 13, 1996 in Crockett, Texas at the age of 60.

Services will be conducted on Friday, December 20, 1996 at 10:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo, MN with Rev. Tom Flaherty officiating.  Interment will be  at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Thursday evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Ione Anna (Beckman) Anderson was born on June 4, 1936 in Little Falls, MN to Seth and Mildred Beckman. She graduated from Kerkhoven High School in 1954 and attended St. Cloud State Teachers College.  She was united in marriage to Dean A. Anderson on September 10, 1955 in Pennock, MN.  They lived in Clara City where she  was a member of Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City and Community Bible Church in Montevideo before moving to Crockett, TX about 25 years ago. She worked as a teacher's aid in Crockett for 9 years and was a co-owner of Anderson Auto Repair in Crockett since 1974. She has been a Sunday School teacher in her church since her teen - age years.

She is survived by her husband - Dean A. Anderson of Crockett, TX; by sons - Dean (Debra) Anderson, Jr. of Pennington, TX and David (Tammy) Anderson  of Crockett, TX; by daughters - Kathryn Osmond of Crockett, TX; Vickie (Gary) Hamilton  of Crockett, TX and Julie (David) Brown of Tyler, TX; 12 grandchildren; a brother - S. Victor (Sue) Beckman  of St. Cloud, MN; and sisters - Janet (Elwood) Melin of Willmar,  MN; and Diane (Stan) Johnson  of Lompoc, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by an infant son - Daniel  Lee Anderson
