Janet Rensberger of Minneapolis, formerly of Dawson, died suddenly Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at her home in Minneapolis at the age of 61.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at the Presbyterian Church in Dawson with Pastor Herb Rotunda officiating. Interment will be in the Dawson Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, October 4, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. with a prayer service at 7:00 at the Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home.
Janet Mary Rensberger was born June 24, 1952 in Dawson, MN to Ralph and Carol (Anderson) Rensberger. She was baptized and confirmed at the Presbyterian Church in Dawson. She graduated from Dawson High School in 1970. Janet attended college at Morris and then transferred to University of MN where she graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in art history in 1974. She remained in Minneapolis and worked in sales at Bolger Publications for thirty-four years. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling, gardening and drawing.
She is survived by her Mother, Carol Rensberger of Dawson; two brothers: Keith (Mary Beth) Rensberger of Lewisville, CO, and Lee (Debra) Rensberger of Monticello, MN; a sister, Julie (Tom) Leever of Hendersonville, NC; seven nieces and nephews; five great-nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Rensberger in 1998, and her grandparents.
