Janet F Schultz

Janet F. Schultz passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at her home in Montevideo at the age of 86.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Jeff Fitzkappes officiating.  There will be a private family burial.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at church on Saturday.

Janet was born on December 21, 1932 at the rural home of her parents Frank and Clara (Hagen)Schultz.  She was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo.  She was united in marriage to L.E. (Bud) Schultz in Watertown, SD.

She is survived by her husband, Bud; daughter, Pauline (David) Trandahl, Alexandria, MN; son: Charles (Pam) of Montevideo; grandchildren: Kristin (Jason) Phillips, Fargo, ND, Jason (Kate) Trandahl, Marine on St. Croix, MN, Nathan (Tina) Trandahl, Garfield, MN, Chad (April) Schultz, Montevideo, MN, Miranda (Matt) Gilbertson, Watson, MN, Matthew Schultz, Montevideo, MN, Andrew (Dani) Schultz, Watertown, SD; five great-grandchildren: Janae, Karson, Madi, Parker, and Bella; sister: Betty (Gorman) Velde; sister-in-law: Virginia Stelick; brothers-in-law: William Gordon, Donald (Marieta) Schultz; half-brother: Mark (Mary) Schultz; step-brothers: Richard Oakland, David (Glenda) Oakland, Donald Oakland and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; step-mother; sisters: June Oakland, Pat Gordon; half-sisters: LaVaune Norell and Delores Johnson
