Janice Nordby of Montevideo died Friday, June 19, 2015 at Bethesda Hospital in St. Paul, MN at the age of 63.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Janice Nordby was born on January 25, 1952 in Montevideo to Raymond and Lorraine (Johnson) Nordby. She grew up in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1970. Janice moved to Bloomington, Minnesota, where she worked as a supervisor for National Car Rental for a number of years. Janice moved back to Montevideo in the early 1990's to be closer to her family.
Janice enjoyed travel and traveled to many places in the United States, as well as abroad to many places in Europe. She also enjoyed going to Norway Lake and spending time with family. Family was important to her and she valued time spent with her siblings and their families.
Janice is survived by two sisters and one brother: Roxanne (Russell) Davis of Burnsville, MN, Kim (Gary) Riley of Montevideo, MN, and Ronald (Claudette) Nordby of Bloomington, MN; and other relatives and friends.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lorraine Nordby.
