Jeffrey Lyle Nordby

Jeffrey Nordby, of Montevideo, died Thursday, September 14, 2006 at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis at the age of 47.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Tim Ehling officiating.

Jeffrey Lyle Nordby was born July 18, 1959 at St. Paul, MN the son of Torfinn and Adeline (Blake) Nordby.  He graduated from high school and attended one year of art school in the metro area.  Jeff was a construction laborer, a jack of all trades, and an artist.  He was united in marriage with Mindy Salo August 17, 2001 and they made their home in Montevideo.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Mindy of Montevideo; his mother, Adeline Blake of Montevideo; and three brothers: Kenneth and Terry Nordby both of Dawson and Greg Nordby of Montevideo..

Preceding him in death were his father, Torfinn and his brother, Jimmy.
