Jennifer Sherod, of Montevideo, died on Friday, February 27, 2009 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN at the age of 27. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Kathy Skoglund officiating. Interment will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening with the family present from 5 - 7 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Jennifer Rose Sherod was born on July 29, 1981 in Montevideo, MN to O'Neil and Karen (Jordahl) Sherod. She was baptized on August 21, 1981 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Jennifer attended the Sibley, Sanford and Middle Schools in Montevideo until the age of 20. She lived at home with her parents until the age of 20, when she moved into the Morning View Assisted Living Home for a couple of years. She has been a resident of the Luther Haven Nursing Home since April of 2004. Jennifer is best known for her infectious smile and giggle. She is survived by her parents, O'Neil and Karen Sherod of Montevideo; grandmother, Myrtle Sherod and grandfather, Orean Jordahl, both of Montevideo; aunts and uncles: Lorelei Andresen, Ron and Diane Sherod, Eloise and Gabe Valentino and Kevin Jordahl, all of Montevideo; Jeff and Barb Sherod of Winona, MN; and Brad and Deb Jordahl of Webster City, IA; cousins: Kyle Sherod; Angela (and Bryce) Curtiss, and Jackie (and Aaron) Sachs, all of Montevideo; Kim (and Rick) Klocek of Orono, MN; Carly and Colin Sherod of Winona, MN; Tracy Fankhouser, Erica Cornielison and Jerrod Jordahl of Webster City, IA and Bryan Jordahl of St. Cloud, MN. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rose Jordahl in 1986; her grandfather, Clarence Sherod in 2007; an uncle, Cliff Andresen in 2005 and a cousin, Kevin Sherod in 1987.
