JoAnn S. (Fairchild) Radke was born on July 10, 1930 in Bismark, North Dakota to Joe and Dahl Fairchild. She grew up in Minneapolis, Mn., where she graduated from Washburn High School and attended Hamline University for 2 years. She was united in marriage to Dr. Robert Radke on August 15, 1952 at the Hennepin Avenue Methodist Church in Minneapolis. They lived in St. Paul; Wagner,SD; Cass Lake, Mn.; White Earth, Mn.; St. Louis Park,Mn.; Montevideo, Mn. and Milan, Mn.; and was currently residing at Koronis Manor in Paynesville, Mn. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star; Milan EMT's; Kviteseid Lutheran Church and the Kviteseid Lutheran Women's Prayer Group.
She died on October 17, 1993 at the Paynesville Manor at the age of 63. She is survived by sons - Robert (Ellen) of Spicer, Mn.; Thomas of Willmar, Mn.; James of Montevideo; and Kurt (Janine) of Middle Village, N.Y.; by a daughter - Anne Radke of Willmar, Mn.; and by 4 grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband - Dr. Robert Radke in 1990; and by a granddaughter - Emily Radke.
