Jon Russ, 36, of Montevideo died May 3, 1993 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 6, at 10:00 A.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Rev. James Revelle will officiate and interment will be at Watson Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be held for one hour before the services on Thursday.
Jon Harvey Russ was born October 24, 1956 at Little Rock, AR the son of Albert "Jack" and Rose (Meyer) Russ. Jon attended school and grew to adulthood there. He joined the Navy on September 12, 1976 and was discharged on September 11, 1980. After his discharge, Jon lived in northern California. He was united in marriage with Pam Reinhart September 6, 1986 at Watson. Jon was currently attending Granite Falls Vocational College and working at Chandler Industries in Montevideo.
He is survived by his children: Berkeley (six years old) and Brady (two years old) both living in Montevideo; his parents Jack and Rose Russ of Little Rock, AR; three sisters: Jackie Bradley of Little Rock, AR, Lisa O'Neal of North Little Rock, AR, and Carol Sikes of Byrant, AR; and three nephews: Stuart Bradley, Saun O'Neal and Christopher O'Neal.
