Julie Claflin, of Madison, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Madison Hospital, at the age of 76.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM with a time of sharing starting at 2:00 PM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Julie Ann Fenney was born June 25, 1943 to Ray and Olive (Berg) Fenney. She grew up in the Twin-Cities Area, and later in life moved to Madison, MN. Julie was united in marriage to Marvin Claflin on June 25, 2011 in Madison, MN. She spent much of her life working as a coach bus driver, which she really enjoyed.
Julie loved to fish, and her favorite place to go fishing was Green Lake in Spicer, MN. She also was a very good cook, and everything she cooked was enjoyed by her family and friends. At one point in life Julie owned a Morgan horse farm named Dan-Dee Manor Morgans where she bred show horses. One unique skill Julie had was her Pysanky Ukrainian Egg crafting.
She is survived by her daughter, Coral Dee “Dede” Bogan, of Montevideo; grandchildren: Jeremy (Megan) Reynolds, of Montevideo, and Dayna Southerton, of Milan; great-grandchildren: Izlynn, and Zaylia; sister, Teresa (Dean) Benson; brother, Ron Fenney; and numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; parents; and a son-in-law, Kirk Bogan.
