Jutta Suzanne Köwenig Bennett was born on March 8, 1945 in Lauffen, Germany to Peter Paul and Margarethe Rosa (Messer) Köwenig.  She grew up in Germany and graduated from high school.   Jutta was married to Steve Stevenson from 1962 to 1972.  To this union two children were born, Thomas and Angela.  Jutta  came to the United States in 1965.  She made Montevideo her home for over 40 years. She was married to Dale Falk from 1973 until his death in 1996. Jutta was a supervisor at Northern Telecom in Minneapolis for a  few years receiving high honors, before moving to Montevideo where she was in the Engineering department as a  motor prototype builder and later supervisor--while working for MTI for 40 accumulated years.  She also worked for a short time in interior design.  Jutta and Steve Bennett were married in Maui, Hawaii in 2001.

Jutta enjoyed golf, bowling and flower gardening.  She was also an accomplished Black Powder shooter, dirt biker and ATV operator.  Jutta enjoyed cooking and instead of reading novels she read cookbooks so that she could try out new recipes as well as learn something about the food she was preparing.  Family recalls that everything that Jutta cooked and baked was wonderful.  Jutta was a warm, witty and gracious person to all she would meet, and would spend time visiting with friends and family no matter what she had to do.  Family was most important to her and she loved to spend time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jutta is survived by her husband, Steve; her children: Tom (Lisa) Stevenson of Lake City, MN and Angie (Bret) Tilden of Clarkfield; seven grandchildren: Brandon (Kari) Stevenson, Kara Stevenson, Brittany (Jon) Dauphinais, Sarah (Tyler) Fagen, Chelsea Maroney, Justin Tilden, and Jaden Maroney; 7 great-grandchildren: Dylan, Colton, Bennett, and Fallon Stevenson, Harper Dauphinais, and babies Fagen and Stevenson-Thornburg to be born; brother, Peter Köwenig of Lauffen, Germany; sisters: Ursala (Walter) Baumann of Lauffen, Germany and Connie (Jurgen) Hergert of Lauffen, Germany; as well as numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Monica.
