Kathryn Larson

Kathryn Louise Larson, age 73, of Tulsa, OK passed away April 28, 2018. She was born on October 24, 1944 in Montevideo, MN. Kathy attended local schools graduating from Milan High School in 1962. She attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. Kathy excelled in her studies and was the salutatorian in her high school class.

Kathy lived in Minnesota until 1978 before moving to Oklahoma. She was a long term resident of Tulsa. Kathy was passionate about rescue animals and always had dogs as pets. She enjoyed arts and literature. She worked for many years at Walgreens, Avis, Fabricut and most recently at Kohls. Kathy was frequently recognized as a valuable employee, receiving many recognition awards.

She is survived by her sisters: Kristin and Pam; brothers: Brian and Mark; nieces; and a nephew. She is also survived by Ralph Livdahl a long-time mentor and close friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Vernon and Bernice; and brothers: Bruce, Lee and Gary. She was also preceded in death by Ralph’s wife, Marge Livdahl.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Black Oak Cemetery in Montevideo MN. Visitation will follow afterwards at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo.
