Kenneth W. Bonnema, of Watson, MN, died on Wednesday April 10, 1996 at the Chippewa Co-Montevideo Hospital in Montevideo at the age of 52.

Memorial services were conducted on Friday April 12, 1996 at 2:00 PM at the Kviteseid Lutheran Church in Milan with Rev. Wayne Andersn officiating.

Kenneth Wayne Bonnema was born on June 1, 1943 in Willmar, MN to Harry and Vivian (Schneider) Bonnema.  He graduated from Prinsburg Central High School in 1961.  He attended Willmar Community College and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1969. He was united in marriage to Margit Flykt on September 11, 1964 in Willmar, MN.  He worked for the Department of Natural Resources in St. Paul for a couple of years, at the Redwood Falls Wildlife Office for about nine years as well as serving on the Redwood Police department for a number of years. He was currently working for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources as manager of the Lac Qui Parle Game Refuge. He worked for the Department of Natural Resources for the past 31 years. He was a member of Kviteseid Lutheran Church in Milan, Mn\N, the Milan Sportsman's Club, Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, A.A. and the Minnesota Conservation Federation.

He is survived by his wife Margit; by a son - Timothy of Rockford, MN; a daughter - Cynthia Bonnema of Watson, MN; 3 granddaughters; his mother - Vivian Bonnema of Prinsburg, MN; brother - Kelvin (Judy) of Brooklyn Park, MN ;  sisters - Doreen (Mark) Hoff of  Reno, NV;   and Lynnette (Gregg) Duininck of  Prinsburg, MN; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and 3 beloved dogs.

He was preceded in death by his father - Harry and his grandparents.
