Kenneth Flaa

Kenneth Flaa, of Dawson, died on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Johnson Memorial Hospital at the age of 62.

Private family services will be held.  A video of Kenneth’s service will be available to view on his obituary page on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

Kenneth Flaa was born on October 4, 1958 in Dawson, MN to Irving and Laura (Kvaal) Flaa.  He attended Dawson- Boyd High School and graduated in 1977.  Ken spent his time working on the farm and working for Larson Tiling.   He cared for his father, Irving, during the last years of his life which allowed him to continue to live on the family farm before Irving moved to the Madison Nursing Home. He enjoyed music, baseball, fishing, and being with his grandchildren.  Ken loved gardening and providing fresh produce for his family and friends.

Ken is survived by his two children: Nathan (Kaci) Flaa of Watertown, SD and Jill (fiancé Scott Olson) Flaa of Benson, MN; two grandchildren: Jessalee and Rylan; and his sister, Jean (Cliff) Mogard of Alexandria, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers: Donald & David.
