Kenneth Harold Heinrich of Dawson, MN died Tuesday August 5, 2014 at his home in Dawson, MN at the age of 63.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church in Dawson. Pastor Kendall Stelter will officiate and interment will be in Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church with a prayer service at 6:30 PM.
Kenneth “Ken” Harold Heinrich was born January 28, 1951 at the Madison, MN hospital to Harold and Elvira (Braness) Heinrich. He was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church Arena Township in rural Madison. He attended Madison High School and graduated in 1969. After high school, Ken attended North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND from 1970 to 1971 and graduated with a degree in radio and TV servicing. Ken owned and operated Ken’s TV in Dawson for 38 years. On July 21, 2006, Ken married Linda Lange at their home in Dawson. Ken loved to play pool two nights a week, fishing, working in his yard, woodworking and making intricate wooden bowls, working with electronics, watching sports, and most of all, he loved spending time with his special pet, “Big Kitty”.
Ken is survived by his wife, Linda; his step-son, Aaron Lange; his mother, Elvira Heinrich of Dawson; brother-in-law, Mike (Deb) Engler of Marshall, MN; mother & father-in-law, Clarence (Verna) Engler of Marshall, MN; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold.
