Kirk Bogan, of rural Montevideo, died on Monday, September 27, 2004 at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson, MN at the age of 45.
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, October 2, 2004 from 2 - 4 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Kirk Dean Bogan was born on July 9, 1959 in Minneapolis, MN to Wallace and June (Zeeman) Bogan. He grew up in Circle Pines, MN, raced snowmobiles as a child, and attended Centennial School. He worked as a carpenter in a variety of locations. On January 10, 1996 he was united in marriage to Coral Dee Winter in Watertown, SD. They moved to a farm in rural Montevideo in 2000, where he has worked on restoring the 100 year old farm. He has battled Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in the past year and loved to fish, hunt and snowmobile.
He is survived by wife, Coral Dee; step-children: Dayna Southerton and Jeremy Reynolds of Montevideo; children: Kimberly Bogan and Thomas Miller of Onamia, MN; his father, Wallace Bogan of Glenwood, MN; a brother, Glenn Bogan and a nephew Jared Bogan, both of North Branch, MN; as well as by cousins, uncles and aunts.
He was preceded in death by his mother June Bogan and by a daughter, Mary Beth Miller.
