Kyle Ray Anderson

Kyle Anderson, of Montevideo, died on Friday, February 20, 1998 , as a result of an automobile accident at the age of 22.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 24, 1998 at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Leo Deitemeyer officiating.  Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening and with the family from 6 - 7:30 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Kyle Ray Anderson was born on October 12, 1975 to Dennis and Paulette (Siewert) Anderson in Mountain View, California.  He was baptized at Bend, OR and spent his early years in several locations on the west coast.  He moved with his family to the Montevideo area in 1988, attended Montevideo Public Schools and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1994.  He was active in 4 - H, FFA, ECO, CURE and served in the Minnesota National Guard.  He worked at Food-N-Fuel as a cashier and had worked at Innovex and Offerman’s Hatchery.  He was very interested in birds, preserving wildlife, forestry, bowling, listening to music and canoeing.

He is survived by a son, Clay Bryan Anderson of Montevideo; his fiance, Bobbie Jo Nelson of Montevideo; his parents, Dennis and Paulette Anderson of Montevideo; one brother, Paul W. Anderson of Montevideo; two sisters: Tina Wagner of Sykeston, ND and Melissa Anderson of New York; maternal grandparents, Carl and Polly Siewert of Montevideo; three nephews: Allen, Brian, and Cody Wagner; four aunts; three uncles; several cousins; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Helen Anderson.
