Kyle Anthony Olson

Kyle Olson, of Montevideo, died on Sunday, January 29, 2006 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN at the age of 23.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at 1:30 PM at the United Methodist Church in Montevideo with Paul Woolverton officiating and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon and evening, with the family from 5 - 7 PM and with a prayer service at 6 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Kyle Anthony Olson was born May 21, 1982 in Montevideo, MN the son of Anthony and Ronda (Bunn) Olson.  He was baptized and confirmed at the United Methodist Church and graduated from Montevideo Senior High in 2000.  Kyle then attended Alexandria Technical College studying carpentry.  After graduation, he returned to Montevideo to work with his father at Counter Craft as a carpenter and cabinet maker.  Kyle enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his dog Lexi.  He especially loved being with his nephew and niece and doing things with his numerous friends.

He is survived by his parents: Anthony and Ronda Olson of Montevideo; his sister, Cara Abel and her husband Bryan of LeSueur, MN; one nephew Bryce Abel and one niece Kendra Abel; grandparents: Richard and Delores Olson of Montevideo and Ronald and Joyce Bunn of Montevideo; great-grandmother, Mildred Wilkinson of Montevideo; aunts and uncles: Blane (Mary) Olson of Montevideo, Janell (Gregory) Bunn-Verdin of Severn, MD, and Julie Hill of Montevideo; and numerous cousins.

Preceding him in death were his great-grandparents: Lee Wilkinson, Sander and Mabel Olson, David and Martha Bunn and Lyle and Vera Smith.
