Larry Bollman, of Paynesville, died tragically August 4th, 2014 as a result of a motorcycle accident near Milan, MN at the age of 58.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Paynesville Lutheran Church in Paynseville. Interment will be in the Dassel Community Cemetery in Dassel, MN. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday.
Larry Allen Bollman was born August 27th, 1955 in Litchfield MN, the son of Arnold and Doris (Dahlgren)Bollman. Larry was a Dassel-Cokato graduate, went on to become a diesel mechanic and was currently working for the Paynesville Centra Care Health System.
Larry had a love for his children, Ryan and Cyndi. He loved spending time with his friends, fishing, and hunting. He loved to be there to help anyone in need. He loved to tinker with all things mechanical and had a natural gift as a mechanic. He knew how to fix almost everything.
Larry took special pride in his grandchildren, Ethan (12), Brandon (11), Brooke (7), Makena (5), and Matthew (3). He loved spending time with them fishing, telling stories, cuddling on the couch, and making plans for great adventures. He had a wonderful sense of humor and many times showed affection through his gentle teasing and trademark sidearm hugs to his children.
Larry is survived by two children: Ryan (Amy) Bollman of Annandale, MN and, Cyndi (Bollman) Steinke of Blaine, MN, five grandchildren, his mother Doris Bollman of Dassel, a sister Bev (Tom ) Dokken of Bloomington, MN and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Arnold and infant sister Janet Mae.
