LaVonne Tellinghusen, 65, of Montevideo died February 9, 2000 at her home in Montevideo.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2000 at 3:00 P.M. at Hope Reformed Church in Montevideo. Rev. Donald Rignalda will officiate and interment will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 14, at Sunnywood Gardens in Grand Forks, ND.
Visitation will be held Friday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo and with the family present from 5-7:00 P.M.
LaVonne Francis Tellinghusen was born August 18, 1934 at Morris, MN the daughter of Edward and Vivian (Corcoran) Carlin. LaVonne grew up in Herman, MN and graduated from Morris High School in 1953. She was united in marriage with Albert Tellinghusen November 3, 1956 at Herman, MN. They lived in Fargo, ND for one year before moving to Grand Forks. Albert died in 1980. She moved to Lindstrom, MN in 1989 and to Montevideo, MN in 1992. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. LaVonne was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly.
She is survived by six children: Mary Nelson and her husband Dennis of Montevideo, MN, Debbie Telander of Grand Forks, ND, Albert Tellinghusen and his wife Janie of Farmington, MN, Robin Chamberlain and her husband Rick of Forest Lake, MN, Charlene Tangen and her husband Doug of Farmington, MN, and Julie Mulder and her husband Lauren of Montevideo, MN; thirteen grandchildren: Chris, Brian, Patrick and Katelyn Nelson, Jennifer and Mathew Telander, Morgan Tellinghusen, Jason and Joseph Nelson, Blake and Kally Tangen, Micheal Jordan, and Bejamin Mulder; her mother, Vivian Carlin of Morris, MN; two brothers: Eugene (Joyce) Carlin of Brooklyn Park, MN and Edward (Beverly) Carlin of Sandstone, MN; three sisters: Sharon Uphoff of Morris, MN, Darlene (Henning) Asumb of Donnelly, MN, and JoAnn (Tom) Jacobson of Morton, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her father; her husband, Albert; three grandsons: Paul Nelson, Anthony Jordan, and Justin Nelson; one brother, Peter Carlin; and two sisters: Carol Carlin and MaDonna Davidson.
