Lee Johnson died Monday, November 23, 2015 at his home in Montevideo at the age of 62.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Chapel in Montevideo. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 PM at the funeral home.
Lee Albert Johnson was born October 18, 1953 at San Diego, CA the son of Lee and Betty Lou (Lyngen) Johnson. He graduated from MarVista High School in Imperial Beach, CA. Lee worked as a commercial fisherman and also did carpentry work. Lee married Charlene Johnson in 1987. He moved to Montevideo, MN in 1996 and worked at Jennie-O, AMPI, Flinn’s Iron & Metal and the Sportsmen Inn. He had been working for Cabinets Plus in Montevideo at the time of his death.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Lou Johnson of Montevideo; two sisters: Vicki (James) McCall of Cottwood, CA and Patricia Brown of Montevideo; two foster sisters: Susie McComas of Missouri and Dawn (Mark) Arborgast of San Diego; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his father, Lee in 1997; wife, Charlene; a brother, David in infancy; a brother-in-law, James Brown; a step-sister, Terri Ross; and a foster sister, Sandy Dexter.
