Lee Rodeberg age 39, of Montevideo, died on Friday, August 27, 1999 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale as a result of an accident.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 1 at 10:30 AM at Saron Lutheran Church with Rev. Steven Rheingans officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 - 8 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM, all at Saron Lutheran Church. Anderson Funeral Home of Montevideo is in charge of funeral arrangements for Lee Rodeberg.
Lee Curtis Rodeberg was born on January 30, 1960 in Montevideo, MN to Dean and Marilyn (Bue) Rodeberg. He was baptized and confirmed at Saron Lutheran Church. He attended Montevideo Public Schools and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1978. While in High School he was very active in FFA activities. On August 29, 1987 he was united in marriage to Emily Streed at Kviteseid Lutheran Church in Milan, MN. He was actively engaged in farming and was a lifelong member of Saron Lutheran Church. He was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed outdoor sports such as fishing, hunting and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Emily; his special one year old son, Trent; his parents, Dean and Marilyn Rodeberg of Montevideo; two sisters: Lori Mezyk and her husband Pete of Chicago, IL and Beth Rodeberg and her special friend Brian Gudding of Bloomington, MN; one brother, Todd Rodeberg and his wife Marcia of Eau Claire, WI; his grandmother, Inez Rodeberg of Montevideo; his parents-in-law: Ernest and Arlene Streed of Milan, MN; a number of brothers and sisters- in-law; as well as by a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandparents: Harry and Mabel Rodeberg and Wilford and Adeline Bue.
