Leon Norman, of Montevideo, died on Thursday October 19, 1995 at the Chippewa Co-Montevideo Hospital at the age of 72.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday October 21, 1995 at 10:30 A.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Ronald Duty officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be prior to services at the funeral home.
Leon Norman was born on September 25, 1923 in Montevideo, MN. to William and Florence (Warner) Norman. He was baptized and confirmed at Rosewood Lutheran Church of rural Montevideo and attended rural schools. He was raised by the William Alley family following the death of his mother in 1927. He worked as a farm hand at a number of dairy farms in the Willmar and Kandiyohi Co. area before retiring. He was currently a resident of Parkview Towers in Montevideo.
He is survived by brothers - Robert Norman of Maple Lake, MN and John Norman of Princeton, NJ; and by a sister - Eloda Peterson of Maynard, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, by sisters - Loise Norman and Mary Haase as well as by a brother - Ernest Norman.
