Leonard Sulflow, 76, of Montevideo, died January 8, 1996 at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 10, 1996 at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church of Havelock. Rev. Richard Hamlow will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M.
Leonard Gustav Sulflow was born August 27, 1919 in Grace Township, Chippewa County, MN the son of Herman and Anna (Teichert) Sulflow. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church of Havelock. Leonard was united in marriage with Rena "Jerry" Lange February 3, 1942 at Trinity of Havelock. They made their home and farmed in Grace and Havelock Townships.
He is survived by his wife, Jerry; one son, Eugene and his wife Sandra of Montevideo; two daughters: Carol Nohrenberg and her husband Everett of Clear Lake, SD and Joyce Olson and her husband Vernon of Watson, MN; eight grandchildren: Annette Westfield, Rose Kemen, Toni Hofmann, Stephanie Munsterman, Adam Sulflow, Noel Sulflow, and Nicole and Karla Olson; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Eleanor and Gilbert Seeman of Montevideo; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a stillborn son, Alvin Richard Sulflow; one sister, Lydia Birhanzl; and three brothers: Ervin, Walter, and Harold.
