Lois Jean (Brown) Berge

Lois Bergo, of Montevideo, died on Friday, July 11, 2003 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 73.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 14, 2003 at 1:30 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Michael Briggs officiating.  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday afternoon and evening, with the family from 5- 7 PM and with a prayer service at 7 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Lois Jean (Brown) Bergo was born on October 31, 1929 in Toronto, SD to Ray A. and Ida (Lovaas) Brown. She was baptized in the Bloom Prairie Lutheran Church in Toronto, SD and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo.  She attended Montevideo High School.  On January 9, 1947 she was united in marriage to Paul A. Bergo in Montevideo, MN.  She spent her entire married life living in Montevideo, where she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and it’s Womens Groups.   She enjoyed helping others and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Paul; daughters: Karen Tabor and her husband Darwin of Buffalo, ND and Wendy Olson and her husband Gordon  of Melrose, MN; 3 grandchildren: Carmen Garrigan and her husband Douglas of Bemidji, MN; Corey Tabor of Buffalo, ND and Christin Olson of St. Cloud, MN; 2 great grandchildren: Allison and Anna Garrigan; 3 brothers: Charles Brown and his wife Lois of Bemidji, MN; Thomas Brown and his wife Meredith of Bemidji, MN and Merlyn Brown and his wife Dorothy of Clarkfield, MN; as well as by a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by 2 brothers, Robert & Carroll Brown.
