Lois Lovehaug, of Milan,  died Wednesday May 20, 2015 at St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 67.

Funeral services will be Sunday May 24, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Kvitseid Lutheran Church in Milan with Rev. Kristine Isder officiating.  Interment will be in the Kviteseid Lutheran- Milan Methodist Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday May 23, 2015  from 5 -7 PM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo with a prayer service at 7:00 PM.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Sunday.

Lois Jean (Wilkening) Lovehaug was born to Albert and Ruth (Tietz) Wilkening on October 21, 1947 at Immanuel Hospital in Mankato, MN.  Lois was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Minnesota Lake, MN and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mapleton, MN. She spent her first years on a farm near Mapleton and then moved to town.  Lois graduated from Mapleton High School in 1965.  After graduation,  Lois attended community college in Mankato, MN.  Lois worked for the St. Louis Park Medical Center and at the University of Minnesota Department of Concerts and Lectures where she met David Lovehaug.

On April 5, 1970 Lois and David were married at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mapleton, MN.  Following their marriage they made their home in Milan, MN and had two children, Adam and Rachel.  Lois worked at the Milan Elevator for 33 years before retiring in August of 2013.  Lois loved her family the most, especially her five grandchildren.  She enjoyed baking and cooking and being outside.  Lois was an active member of her church where she served as a trustee and was a dedicated member of teh Milan EMT's.  Lois also took great joy in her collection of Cuckoo clocks and Santa Clause figurines.

Lois is survived by her husband, David Lovehaug, children: Adam (Michele) Lovehaug of Fargo, ND and Rachel (Tom) Hockford of Prior Lake, MN; five grandchildren: McKenna, Alexis and Micah Lovehaug and Abigail and Zachary Hockford; siblings: Nancy Haroldson, Don (Kathy) Wilkening, Arlyn (Wanda) Wilkening, Jane (Gary) Gaddis, and Gary (Debbie) Wilkening; a sister-in-law, Gerri Lovehaug; and fifteen nephews and nieces.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father-in-law, Ingvald and Martha Lovehaug; an infant brother and sister; a sister Carol Haroldson; and brothers-in-law: Victor Haroldson, Robert Haroldson, and Ronald Lovehaug.
