Lorraine C (Stolen) Goar

Lorraine Goar of Owatonna, formerly of Dawson, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna, MN at the age of 71.

Private services will be held.

Lorraine C. Stolen was born July 25, 1951 in Dawson, MN to Joel and Julia (Berg) Stolen, the youngest of six children.  She attended and graduated from Dawson-Boyd High School, and after high school, she attended vocational school for two years. Lori worked as an administrative assistant in human resources for Robbinsdale School district for many years.  She really enjoyed her time working there and was loved by everyone with whom she interacted.

Lori was extremely proud of her two children, Jennifer (Micheal Gumbert) and Joseph (Stacey).  Each of her children were successful and she was always proud to tell anyone who would listen.

She is survived by her children Jennifer Goar (Micheal Gumbert) of Rochester, and Joseph (Stacey) Goar of Watertown; grandchildren, Hudson, Winston and Tatum; siblings, Richard Stolen, Margaret Denlinger, Mavis Nelson and Mel Stolen; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents; and twin-sister, Lillian.
