Lorraine "Lolly" Judge, formerly of Montevideo, died on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Riverside Assisted Living in Granite Falls at the age of 87. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Dale Svendsen officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Lorraine "Lolly" Selma (Opager) Judge was born on November 6, 1922 in Boyd, MN to Ole and Sina (Swenson) Opager. She was baptized on November 13, 1922 at the United St. Petri Church and attended elementary school in Boyd. She later attended Faribault School for the Deaf. On October 12, 1968 she was united in marriage to Owen "Joe" Judge, Jr. at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation in St. Paul, MN. They lived in St. Paul, on Swan Lake near Dassel, and in St Cloud for 17 years before moving to Montevideo in June of 2002. In April of 2005 she moved to Riverside Assisted Living in Granite Falls, where she was currently residing.. She worked as an egg candler at the Old Mill Produce in Montevideo, a waitress, a food worker at Pearson Candy Co. in St. Paul and with hotel guest services at Paul's Place in Roseville, MN. She enjoyed knitting, baking and always had a camera in her hand. She loved saving articles and making photo and memory books. Lolly loved watching little children play and cherished their visits. She is survived by two sisters: Stella Anderson and Mae Johnson and her husband Walter, both of Clarkfield, MN; sisters-in-law: Shirley Opager and Alice West; and a number of nieces and nephews including: Sharyl Ulrich, Mark Anderson and Nancy Chasteen , all of Clarkfield, MN, and a special great nephew, Kris Ulrich. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Owen in 2005; four brothers: Dwaine Opager, Leon "PeeWee" Opager, Orion "Red" Opager and Leonard Swenson; a sister, Pearl Likness; and a nephew, Lon Johnson.
