Lorraine A. (Jensen) Rydlund was born on June 1, 1908, in Minneapolis to Chris and Emma (Frederick) Jensen. She was baptized and confirmed in the Presbyterian faith, grew up in Minneapolis, and graduated from Central High School.
On January 29, 1938, she was united in marriage to Raymond Rydlund, DDS at Stewart Memorial Presbyterian Church. To this union one daughter, Nancy, was adopted.
She loved to knit, listen to the Twins and Vikings games on the radio, cover hangers, and play bridge or any card games. She was a 73-year member of the Eastern Star and also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and several bridge clubs.
After suffering a stroke two weeks ago at her home , Lorraine passed away on Friday, April 16, 1999, at the Johnson Memorial Home in Dawson at the age of 90 years,10 months, and 15 days.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Ron) Breberg of Dawson; grandchildren: Michael (Trish) Breberg of Goldsboro, NC, and Michelle (Jim) Thompson of Willmar; great-grandchild, Tera Walker of Willmar; sister, Mary (Joe) Sheeran of Wadena; and niece, Marte Sheeran of Clackamas,OR; other family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Raymond Rydlund, DDS in 1978; and one sister, Florence Jensen.
