Louie "Pete" William Larson, Sr.

Louie “Pete” Larsen, Sr., of Montevideo, died on Saturday, March 20, 1999 at the Chippewa Co - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 83.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, March 24, 1999 at 11:00 AM at the Maynard Presbyterian Church with Rev. Beverly Crute officiating.  Interment was in the Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens of rural Montevideo.

Louie William Larsen, Sr. was born on June 22, 1915 in Chippewa Co., MN  to William and Martha (Larsen) Larsen.  He grew up in Chippewa Co and attended rural schools. He was united in marriage to Anna Marie Heschke on March 11, 1945 at her home in Waite Park, MN.  They farmed in the Maynard, MN area until retiring in 1988 and moving to Montevideo.  He was a member of the Maynard Presbyterian Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife - Anna Marie; by a daughter - Barbara Larsen of Montevideo, a son - Louie Larsen, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Minneapolis,  grandchildren - Shannah and Travis Larsen; by brothers - Merlin (Margaret) Larsen of Maynard, MN and Ernest (Francis)  Larsen of Clara City, MN;  by a sister - Margaret Preining of Mounds View, MN as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
