Lucila Ontiveros

Lucila Ontiveros died Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her son's home in Montevideo at the age of 52.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Montevideo.  The Celebrant will be Fr. Paul Timmerman and burial will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be held  on Thursday at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo from 5 - 9:00 PM and at the church for one hour before the service.

Lucila (Rodriguez Rubalcava) Ontiveros was born April 21, 1967 in Mazatlan, Mexico to Javier and Maria (Guadalupe Rubalcava) Rodriguez.  She moved to the United States in 1995 and was united in marriage with Jose Luis Ontiveros February 23, 2005 in Granite Falls.  They lived in Granite Falls and Montevideo.  Lucila worked at Jennie - O for a few years.  She enjoyed cooking and spending as much time as possible with family.

She is survived by her husband, Jose; four children: Nancy (James Stavne, Jr.) Ontiveros, Jose Carlos (Mariah Koenen) Ontiveros, Javier Ontiveros, and Juan Ontiveros; five grandchildren; and a brother, Flavio (Jazmin Arechiga) Rubalcava.

Preceding her in death were her parents.
