Lucille Charnstrom, of Montevideo, died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital in Montevideo at the age of 90.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 1:30 PM at the Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo. Rev. Donald S. McKee will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 24, 2014 from 7-9:00 PM at the Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo and one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Lucille Charnstrom was born at Montevideo, MN on March 15, 1924 to Nordon and Alfa (Falla) Kolstad. She was raised in Montevideo and was a graduate of the Central High School. Her marriage to Seymour Charnstrom took place on June 17, 1945 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Lucy enjoyed quilting until her eyesight failed her, traveling and going fishing with Seymour.
Lucille is survived by her daughter, Barbara and Nick Pease; grandchildren Wendy and Todd, great grandchildren, Derek, Hannah and Hayley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Seymour in 2011, infant son, Gail; and son, Gary; and two sisters Marcella Anderson and Vernae Tangeman.
