Luella Hildahl, 78, of Montevideo died May 3, 1994 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 6, 1994 at 2:00 P.M. at Bergen Lutheran Church, rural Montevideo. Rev. James McCalmant will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo and at the church for one hour before services on Friday.
Luella Nora Doebbert was born June 26, 1915 at Canby, MN the daughter of Herman and Minnie (Hacker) Doebbert. Luella was baptized and confirmed in the Christian Faith and she moved with her family as a young girl to Montevideo. She was united in marriage with Glen Hildahl on October 26, 1941 at Saron Lutheran Church in Montevideo. In the spring of 1942 they moved to a farm in Stony Run Township where she and her husband farmed. She later became a member of Bergen Lutheran Church. Luella moved to Luther Haven Nursing Home October 7, 1992.
She is survived by her husband, Glen; several nieces and nephews including Diane Berglund and Larry Doebbert; two brothers-in-law: Ervin Hildahl and his wife Mildred and Selmer Hildahl both of Granite Falls; and two sisters-in-law: Eleanor Doebbert and Ruby Cornelius both of Montevideo.
Preceding her in death were her parents; an infant son; and one brother, Arnold.
