Luella Muxter, of Montevideo, died on Sunday June 5 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 92. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday June 9, 1994 at 1:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. James McCalmant officiating. Burial will be in the Camp Release Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday prior to services at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Luella Olive Muxter was born on August 22, 1901 in Clarkfield, Minnesota to Henry and Sophie Muxter. She was baptized at the Lutheran Free Church of Camp Release and Confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo, and attended rural schools. She spent most of her lifetime in the Montevideo area and has been a resident of the Luther Haven Nursing Home for the past 9 years.
She is survived by sisters - Hazel Osterberg of Edina, Mn.; Verna Swanson and Orda (Alvin) Isaacson - both of Burnsville, Mn.; 2 nieces and a nephew; and she was the adopted grandmother of Stephanie Pepka of Montevideo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by brothers - Raymond and Clifford Muxter; and by a sister - Ruth Muxter.
