Lynden "Razzie" Day died on Saturday July 1, 1995 at the Chippewa Co - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 73.
Memorial services will be conducted on Wednesday July 5, 1995 at 1:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Douglas Olson officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Lynden "Razzie" Arnold Day was born on July 19, 1921 in Rosewood Township of Chippewa Co., MN to Arthur and Anna (Eggers) Day. He grew up in Rosewood Township and attended rural schools. He was united in marriage to Coyla "Dolly" Skogrand on October 23, 1962 in South Dakota. He worked as an automobile mechanic in Minneapolis for many years and for Tebben Manufacturing in Clara City for several years before retiring in 1983.
He is survived by his wife - Coyla "Dolly"; by 4 stepchildren; 8 step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; by brothers - Irhn Day of Montevideo and Herbert Day of South Dakota; by a sister - Iris Johnson of Willmar, MN.; as well as by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, by a brother - Arden; by an infant brother - Rolland; and by sisters - Oma Erickson and Orva Day.
