Maeva Raine Mijares

Maeva Raine Mijares passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Children’s Minnesota Hospital – Minneapolis, MN at the age of 1.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo. Pastor Matt Danielson will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Anderson – TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo with a time of sharing beginning at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.

Arrangements are with Anderson – TeBeest Funeral Home of Montevideo.

Maeva was born on March 11, 2021 in Alexandria, MN to Jesse and Savannah Mijares. She was baptized on May 17, 2022 in Minneapolis, MN.

While on this earth, Maeva loved spending time with her brothers, especially taking toys away from her twin, Myles, or lying on the floor snuggling with Ronan and watching Disney movies. She could always be found sitting in the recliner with dad while watching football, or dancing with mom to George Strait. Maeva’s laugh and beautiful smile could light up any room, and everyone she met was wrapped around her little finger. She brightened the lives of everyone who knew her and brought so much joy to her family. Heaven has gained the most beautiful angel, and although we are so deeply saddened by our loss, we will continue to smile through the tears with all the wonderful memories that she left behind.

Until we meet again, we love you forever and always.

She is survived by her parents, Savannah and Jesse Mijares, older brothers, Ronan and Myles, grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is being held tight by her grandmother, Ashley Flinn, in heaven.
