Marion Eichhorst, formerly of Montevideo, died on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at the Glen Oaks Care Center in New London, MN at the age of 81.
Funeral services will be on Friday, November 21, 2003 at 10:30 AM at Faith Lutheran Church in Spicer, MN with Rev. Simon Fenson officiating. Interment will be at 2:15 PM in the Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens in Montevideo.
Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening and with the family from 5 - 7 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Marion Ardis (Pederson) Eichhorst was born on August 24, 1922 in Willmar, MN to Oscar and Esther (Ness) Pederson. She was confirmed at Eagle Lake Lutheran Church and graduated from Willmar High School in 1940. On November 23, 1950 she was united in marriage to Louis Eichhorst in Willmar, MN. They lived in Montevideo most of their married life, and have spent their retirement years in Spicer, MN. She was a long time member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Montevideo.
She is survived by her husband, Louis; two sons: David Eichhorst and his wife Jackie of Willmar, MN and John Eichhorst and his wife Jennifer of Bolinas, CA; four grandchildren; four brothers: Ray Pederson and his wife Lou, Gaylord Pederson and his wife Margaret, Virgil Pederson and his wife Ione and Robert Pederson and his wife Naomi, all of Willmar, MN; three sisters: Orla Lawler of Reno, NV, Helen Arnold and her husband Phil of Broken Arrow, OK and Marsha Bueide and her husband Paul of Scottsbluff, NB; as well as by a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Eleanor Sundt and Irene Ruter; and by two brothers: Dennis and Marshall Pederson.
